Newborn photography is not only documenting this time for your family
and how small your baby is right now, but it will be your window into the
past when they are grown and memory fades. It's as priceless as your sweet
new baby and the beautiful memories you will make together.

To capture your new baby at their smallest, curliest and sleepiest, the best time for your newborn session is when baby is between 5-15 days but don't worry if your baby is a bit older, we can still achieve a beautiful gallery for your family!

I take a small number of newborns each month so it is best to book your session at least 1-2 months before your due date, or earlier if possible!

Maternity sessions are typically done around 30-36 weeks but can take place at any time
when your belly is nice and round, and as long as you are as comfortable as possible.
Sessions taking place at an outdoor location can be almost anywhere you can dream of, I love to travel!
Travel fees vary by location so please reach out to discuss your personalized maternity session!

Newborn sessions are best booked as early as possible before baby is born to ensure enough time to prepare for your session. They're booked on a tentative date at least 5 days after your due date and adjusted as needed on baby's arrival. They're typically done when baby is between 5-15 days old for those sweet sleepy, curly poses and take place in my North Lethbridge home studio or lifestyle in your home.

Worth the read
The most important piece to newborn photography is safety and this doesn't come naturally to most people, not when it comes to posing these sweet little ones safely. We all know when handling a baby to be gentle and to support their head and neck, but the way professionals pose these babies are with trained skill and this isn't learned overnight.
Professional newborn photographers invest a lot into their education and training, myself included and that will be reflected in pricing.

I can understand how busy life is and with a new baby, can definitely be a little hectic at times.
